*Rare Find!!* We don’t typically sell these ceremonial beaded chullyos, because we don’t want to commodify Q’ero ceremonial clothing that has a high cultural value and represents something you cannot put a price on. Traditionally, when a man was courting a young woman, he would demonstrate his patience by carefully beading his chullyo. The more intricate the bead work displays the virtues of the prospective mate. These magnificent hats are emblematic of the Q’ero culture and take months, even years to finish. Each hat is individually knit and is one-of-a-kind. Please know that you are buying a chullyo that was gifted to our organization in a ceremony of appreciation for the many fruitful projects brought about by Heart Walk Foundation. We will never buy these Chullyos to sell in our store, but sometimes they are gifted to us, either in ceremony or when a Q’ero member passes away.
