This fine and evenly woven traditional mesa cloth features four beautiful bands of symbols of the sacred Inti (sun, inner and sacred light). All fibers are the natural colors of alpaca:  browns, dark charcoal, tans, cream, and gray. Weaver Rosa Grillo Quispe of Lekepata hamlet in Q’eros created this with exquisite harmony and balance to reflect the complimentary duality of male-female in wide bands of dark brown with subtle dark charcoal stripes — surprisingly difficult to do. Rosa has a delightful personality, shy and modest in spite of her stunning beauty inside and out. She lives with 5 other families in her tiny hamlet at 15,000 feet in elevation. 27 x 31 inches.  A photo of Rosa holding this textile is included with your mesa cloth.
