Beautiful natural plant dyes grace this lovely inner cloth. The edges are bound with woven binding to frame the soft green hue contrasting with natural light brown, charcoal, tan, cream, and soft pink. Figures of sacred Chunchu dancers represent the myth of Inkarri, the great Inka ruler that will return to restore the glory of the past.  Created by Isabela Apaza Machacca in her home village under the care of the Apus.  The Q’ero people bundle sacred coca leaves in these traditional carry cloths. Women tuck them in their waist belts. Men carry them in their coca bags.  A perfect square at 12 x 12 inches. 31.5 x 31.5 cm.
