The fine yarns in bright colors are nicely balanced by the wide bands of black and deep maroon. Graciela Quispe Samta created this outside her home in the village of Kiku (Quico) in Q’eros. The colorful yarns in the woven symbols represent “cocha”  — the lakes and lagoon of the Andes.  All Q’ero weavings express location and time in this amazing form of visual poetry..  29.5 x 21.5 inches. 75 x 55 cm.  Your purchase helps the weaver, her family, and her village build food security and schools and helps to preserve the beautiful Q’ero culture.
