The ancient Inti symbols of sacred light are held on each side by dark fields that lend this mesa cloth a sense of solid wisdom. The muted colors of the yearns were achieved with natural dyes. This special textile was woven by the wife of Agusto Phacsi Machacca. They live in a small hamlet down the deep canyon from Quico Grande village with family in nearby homes of stone walls and thatch roofs. Your mesa cloth measures 29.5 x 22 inches (75 x 56 cm). A photo of Agusto hilding a different textile will be included with your purchase. See how your purchase helps the Q’ero people.
