The weaver displays her outstanding skill in this mesa cloth, in which each complex band features double rows of half Inti symbols and full mirrored Chunchu symbols. The alpaca yarns are very finely and evenly spun, and the textile even and balanced throughout. Created by Q’ero elder Santusa Apaza Samata of the Hapu Q’ero group. 21.5 x 29.5 inches. 54.5 x 75 cm.
