A deep bag used by Q’ero men to carry small items. This one features sacred Inti symbols down the middle representing the sacred light of the sun and the light within.  Woven by Martina Samata Machacca at her home in tiny Lekepata, a hamlet of 5 families that lie about 2 hours hike from Yanaruma in the Hapu Q’ero territories. The photo of Martina shows her holding a mestana but is not included with your purchase.  A very useful size at 11.5 inches wide x 14 inches high with a 46 inch strap.
