The woven designs feature ancient sacred symbols of the Andes of the condor, chili flower, and Tumi.The finely handspun alpaca yarns are all in natural hair hues of tan, black, cream, brown, and gray, evoking the wisdom of the earth.  Expert weaver, elder Remigia Salas,and her family live in a tiny home of stone walls and a thatch roof in a small village in the Q’ero region of the Andes.  Your purchase helps Remigia, her family, and her community build projects to give the children a more stable and healthy future.  Your mesa cloth is square and is larger than most. It measures 30.5 x 31.5 inches.  80 x 80 cm.
