This traditional mesa cloth was woven with four rows of Chunchi Inti Pupu.    All Q’ero weavings are like visual poetry that express the Q’ero people’s intimate and reciprocal relationship of AYNI with all elements of the universe. The wide black bands and red bands represent the uncultivated fields. Elizabet Apasa Samata created this stunning mesa in her home in Kiku, Q’eros, under the watchful gaze of sacred Apu Mama Rosa.    30 x 24.5 inches.  77 x 63 cm.  Your purchase includes a photo of Elizabet’s husband holding your new mesa cloth.
