Handsome Inti Mestana / Llikya

Out of stock

This handsome mesa cloth / llikya honors the earth with its natural fiber colors of black, grey, cream, browns and tans. Four rows of Inti (the sun, sacred light) represent the relationship of the Q’ero people with the entire universe — a harmonious relationship of Ayni of mutual interdependence, connections, and reciprocity.  The weaver knelt on the ground outside her one-room stone house, leaning over her loom in Q’eros to create your new mesa cloth.  27.5 x 22.5 inches.  70 x 57 cm.   Your purchase includes a photo of the weaver’s husband, Yuri Samata Phacsi, holding your new mestana.
