Inti Mesa Cloth / Misa / Llikya in traditional style

$145.00

Out of stock

This soft traditional mesa cloth was woven in the classic style with distinctive Inti symbols of sacred light and sun in diamond clusters. The woven patterns of sunrise, sunset, and the sun at midday –as well as the wide bands of growing fields —  reflect Q’ero life as strongly connected to the agricultural fields of Pachamama, the Apus, and all beings. Elder Guillerma Samata Machacca knelt on the ground, leaning over her loom for many days to produce this finely balanced classic textile.  Colors are softer and more muted than in the photos.   23 x 29 inches.  58 x 74 cm.   Your purchase includes a photo of Guillerma holding your new mesa cloth/
