MORE ALPACA COCA BAGS COMING BY JULY!
Paqos and traditional Q’ero use this kind of ch’uspa, a special fur bag made of an alpaca that was miscarried or stillborn. It is used for carrying ceremonial objects and they keep it wrapped in a carrying cloth. Coca leaves are carried in the same bundle. From Ricardina Gerillo Apaza of Yanaruma village in the Hapu Q’eros Nation. In the photo Ricardina is holding the ch’uspa with the underside facing outward. The second image of her reveals her warm heart. This was given in gratitude for the schools built by Heart Walk Foundation from funds raised in this online store.
