This lovely mesa cloth features symbols of the sacred Ch’unchu Init Pupu, representing the upper, interior, and lower worlds (space) and the future (time).  Weaver Manuela Apaza Gerillo hand spun the yarns of alpaca and gently dyed the soft mauve pink ones, leaving the rest in their natural alpaca colors. Manuela used a variety of natural alpaca fiber colors in various shades of brown, tan, cream, and black in this wonderful mesa cloth. Manuela created this mesa cloth working outside her home in the tiny hamlet of Yanaruma, kneeling on the ground of Pachamama and under the protective gaze of the Apus and Apu Mama Rosa, the highest and most sacred in her region.  28 x 24 in.  71 x  61cm. A photo Manuela is included with your purchase.
