Braided Alpaca Rope

In stock

This exceptional rope was made using a very sophisticated twist braiding technique that is not frequently seen because of its difficulty to make. The braid forms a multicolored cord that is strong and beautiful. Q’ero men weave these cords to tie and transport loads of potatoes from their fields, and to tie ceremonial bundles. Measures 62.5 feet, or 19 meters.
