SKU: 200.03

A variety of natural colors of alpaca fiber were used to make this beautiful large medicine bag with a band of dancing Chunchus (Inkarri) down the center.  Q’ero weaver Rosa Machacca Apasa hand spun all fiber into fine yarns. Then she created traditional coca bag, or chuspa. She wove the bag outdoors, kneeling on the ground, outside her home in Kiku (Quico) village in the Q’ero region of the Andes Mountains.  13 wide x 13 inches long plus fringe and 45 inch woven strap.  33 x 33 cm. plus. Your purchase helps Rosa, her family and her community to preserve culture and build a more stable life.
