Exquisitely woven ceremonial chalina signifying power and authority. This decorative scarf is woven in the traditional colors and patterns that reflect Q’ero cosmology. Deonicia Apasa Gerillo, a master weaver in Quico, created this beautiful ceremonial chalina in her home village on a four post loom staked into the ground. This is a rare find, as these scarves are used in ceremony and to demonstrate authority in Q’eros. It measures 64 x 5 inches plus fringe, 163cm x 13cm.
