$130.00

Out of stock

Paqos and traditional Q’ero use this kind of ch’uspa, a special fur bag made of an alpaca that was miscarried or stillborn. It is used for carrying ceremonial objects, and they keep it wrapped in a carrying cloth. Coca leaves are carried in the same bundle.  This chus’pa is from the tiny and very traditional village of Yanaruma sitting over 15,000 feet elevation (almost 5000 meters) in the Hapu Q’eros Nation. The ch’uspa may not be the same as listed, but this one is soft, beautifully multicolored, and includes the tail and legs13 x 11 inches .  33 x 28 cm.
