Agostina Gerillo Machacca lives in Ccochamarka village with her husband and children. For a number of years her community had been rejecting their traditions in favor of a fundamentalist Christian religion and culture. The people suffered many difficulties during those years. Then, in more recent years, many have turned back to their cultural and spiritual tradiitions and have been much happier. Agostina’s husband is one of seven young men studying to serve their people as paqos.

Building a High School in the Clouds

This new high school at 12,000 feet elevation in the Andes will bring relief to many families struggling to help their children get a basic education.
