*Rare Find!!* *Unfinished Chullyo* We don’t typically sell these ceremonial beaded chullyos, because we don’t want to commodify Q’ero ceremonial clothing that has a high cultural value and represents something you cannot put a price on. Traditionally, when a man was courting a young woman, he would demonstrate his patience by carefully beading his chullyo. This particular hat is not fully beaded, so it is not as heavy as most. We will never buy these Chullyos to sell in our store, but sometimes they are gifted to us, either in ceremony or when a Q’ero member passes away. These magnificent hats are emblematic of the Q’ero culture and take months, even years to finish. Snug fit as typical of the way the Q’ero men wear these hats.
