This handsome scarf features hand-spun threads of natural un-dyed alpaca wool. Natural earth tones are highlighted in a single band of qocha symbols through the center. Every textile has a story, and we pass that story on to you. This textile was purchased from Julia Machaca Paucar from Hapu in July 2024. Her husband passed away two weeks prior in a tragic accident. We bought this fine textile and many others from the widow so she would have money to provide for her ten children. Your purchase helps put money directly in Julia’s hands and benefits her grieving family. Measures 58 x 5 inches, 145 x 13 cm. Blessings to you for helping Q’ero women support their families. Munay!
