Nelly Gerillo Phase has woven this soft, lovely mesa cloth in 100% natural hues from hand spun alpaca and baby alpaca fibers. No dyes were used, only the differing colors of fibers from her alpaca heard. Decorated by bands of sacred Ch’unchu symbols that evoke a world coming into harmony and balance. The wide bands represent agricultural fields. The two-panel mesa cloth reflects the sacred complementary duality of male/female as lived in the Andes of Peru. Your purchase includes a photo of Nelly holding the ceremonial cloth. Your purchase helps Nelly, her family, and her community build a more sustainable life and supports traditional Q’ero culture.  22 x 27 inches. 55 x 69 cm.
