SKU: 500.60 Categories: ,

Felicia Gerillo Apasa has woven this soft, lovely mesa cloth in 100% natural hues from hand spun alpaca fibers. No dyes were used, only the differing colors of fibers from her alpaca heard. Four bands of sacred symbols of the Andes represent Inti, the sunrise and the sunset. The symbols evoke a world coming into harmony and balance. The wide striated bands represent agricultural fields. The two-panel mesa cloth reflects the sacred complementary duality of male/female as lived in the Andes of Peru. Your purchase includes a photo of Felicia holding the ceremonial cloth, and helps Felicia, her family, and her community build a more sustainable life and supports traditional Q’ero culture.  29 x 25.5 inches. 73 x 65 cm.
