It depicts four bands of “saqas tika” — the furrows, fields and flowering plants — positioned in beautiful balance with the black and brown fields representing the uncultivated pampa. All aspects express the Q’ero people’s intimate relationship with Pachamama, the earth, and the natural and spiritual worlds.
