It depicts four bands of “saqas t’ika” — the furrows, fields and flowering plants — positioned in beautiful balance with the black and red fields representing the uncultivated pampa. All aspects express the Q’ero people’s intimate relationship with Pachamama, the earth, and the natural and spiritual worlds.
