Inkarri (Chunchu) Mesa Cloth

Out of stock

Brightly woven symbols of sacred Inkarri (chunchu) lend strength and clarity to this wonderful mesa. This classic, warm-hearted mesa was woven by Modesta Phacsi Ordonez in her home village of Quico Grande in the Q’eros region of the Andes. The outer bands and narrow middle bands are a bright red hue that frames the 4 bands of symbols of sacred Inkarri. This mesa measures  26 x 29 inches.  66 x 70.5 cm.  Your purchase helps the weaver, her family, and her village build food security and schools and helps preserve the beautiful Q’ero culture.
