Q’ero Chalina – Q’ocha Motif –Runner/Scarf

$140.00

In stock

This unique Q’ero chalina is gentle and sweet. It is woven with naturally colored alpaca yarn and all natural plant dyed yarns for the pink and blue Q’ocha motif. The Q’ocha design represents lakes, pools, and lagoons, which may be depicted in the contrasting colors that look like a reflection on water. This textile is soft enough to be worn as a scarf, wide enough to be used as an elegant table runner. Elena Apaza Flores from Quico has created this gorgeous textile, and a photo card of her holding it is included in the purchase.

We see the art and tradition of weaving as sacred, and celebrate the fact that everyone participates in keeping this knowledge alive. Your purchase supports the continuation of the craft. 63 x 8.5 inches plus fringe.  160 x 21.5 cm.
