Alicia Gerillo Quispe wove this Inka honoring runner on her loom on the ground outside her home in Quico. The symbols of sacred Chun’chu, Inti, Condor, and Q’ocha, along with bands of natural alpaca fibers, express the balance and harmony of the Q’ero cosmovision. This beautiful textile is made of natural alpaca fibers, and measures 15 inches wide, 37 inches long plus fringe at both ends. (38 x 94 cm). A photo of the weaver’s husband, Rolando, holding this textile is included in the purchase.
