Experience your connection with Pachamama with this unkuna cloth of natural alpaca fibers. In spite of their simplicity, these unkuna or wayaka cloths are remarkably challenging to weave. They carry sacred importance to the Q’ero people. The people bundle sacred coca leaves in these traditional carry cloths. Q’ero women tuck them in their waist bands of their skirts. Men carry them in their coca bags. This ukuna cloth was woven in the Hapu Q’ero region of natural alpaca fiber in the traditional way. It is very soft and folds nicely. 16 x 14.5 in. 41 x 37 cm. There are two available, message us if you’d like to buy both and combine shipping.
