This vibrant coca bag utilizes beautiful contrasting colors of red, blue, yellow, orange, purple and pink. It is decorated with Q’ocha symbols in a traditional Q’ero style, and is embellished with fringe at the opening and poms at the bottom. Ruth Quispe Apasa created this medicine bag. She wove the bag outside her stone house in her village of Quico under the watchful care of the Apus. 10″ tall x 10″ wide plus poms. 26 x 27 cm. A photo of Ruth’s daughter holding your textile in Quico is included.
