This inner cloth of one color is woven with wool yarns of gray. The wayaka, or wachala, inner cloth carries sacred importance to the Q’ero people. Women tuck them in their waist belts. Men carry them in their coca bags. The Q’ero people bundle sacred coca leaves in these traditional carry cloths. Your new inner cloth was woven in the Hapu Q’ero region of the Andes under the protective gaze of Apu Mama Rosa. It is bordered on both sides by bright strands of green, blue, pinks and red, and measures 14 x 17 inches. 35 x 44 cm.
